COLLECTOR’S FIELD GUIDE
Items & proofs
Quick answers for your next collection.
What are Items and which photos can I upload?
Items group your photos with a title, type, inventory ID and tags. Use JPEG, PNG or WebP within the displayed per-image size limit; there is no image-count quota. Items stay private unless you choose Public. Saving an Item does not automatically submit collectible proof.
How does bulk adding Items work?
Choose or drop photos, set 1 or more images per Item, and review the groups before creating. Photos follow the displayed order; each group’s first photo is its cover, and a smaller final group is kept. Give each Item a title. Keep the page open while saving. Pausing or retrying preserves completed Items; leaving discards the remaining batch, while saved Items stay in your inventory.
Which proof should I use?
Follow the stop’s photo, check-in, code or collectible rule. Ordinary stop proof follows that quest’s rules. For collectible evidence, complete the required fields, choose the actual collection date separately from the recorded time, and select Public or Private after reviewing personal details. A public collectible proof can be shared; its source Item and crop metadata are not automatically published. Catalog image rights are reviewed separately from your proof visibility.
How do I crop an Item photo for proof?
In the collectible proof flow, choose an Item photo. Select the original ratio, a square or a custom ratio, then drag the frame or use the zoom and position sliders. Reset the crop if you need to start over. Review the preview and choose Use this crop. Only the cropped result becomes the proof; the original Item photo and crop details remain private.
